@atmasphere I get ya - you can edit the mobile number in your jaiku account - but you have to do this an reverify each time and cannot use for multiple simultaneous numbers :(
-
thanks @topgold. I had hoped to put a number on screen and get everyone to text to it. As you point out there needs to be a sign-up step. Will incubate this one again
-
thanks. It makes sense I guess but for a minute I thought mobiles might be used to update one jaiku account. So could be used as say classroom voting systems. All text to one number and then make those texts viewable onscreen. Unless there is some other way to funnel SMSes from various mobiles into one place?

I do first word small then all subsequent words begin with a cap. It might depend on the language you are using what convention is more normal. This is from Java (also In Java the type is rarely prefixed to the variable name) The number one rule however is what your marker wants (or else explain to him in the comments why you are using a particular system). I had lots of arguments with my lectures about this kind of thing. They loved seeing my face coming into the classroom. Ah those were the days

When I was a kid we had a hose in the garden where we played soccer. It went dry one day and I sucked to get the water going. Ended up with a gobful of earwigs who had started nesting there. Eh where was I?
Twitter has been living off a social splurge for years. The party is over though - people are going to become more frugal and cautious with their words. As everyone becomes paralyzed by the fear that someone somewhere is already twittering their exact tweets we enter - the saidit crunch.
RSS feed subs plummet like bank stocks. People flock to the safety of landlines, newspapers, television and the brutish ancient practice of "talking".

@alexleonard you can create up a new jaiku user and make their postings private. This is the equivalent of a private channel (bit messy I know). Thanks to James Clay for this one.
