I was roped to a guy called Ludo - one of the younger guides. Very nice. We also had jean marc for the summit days. And for the summit and during traing we had Ettiene (TT) and the ledgendary Gilles.
I will definitely go back to the alps. Switzerland sounds nice. So much to do and only one lifetime

wow sound class. I have been around Ireland a bit, snowden and did corscia one year which was beautiful. Have never been to any of those countries you mention. I love asking people for ideas of places to go. Time could be ticking for me too - as I am married now with a house and a cat...

thanks dave. the loos are indeed very exciting. I didn't get too much altitude sickness no. I think maybe cause we did a 3,400 peak a few days earlier and slept at over 2,000 for a night.
It is a beautiful part of the world yes. I regret not taking more photos. I'll have to go back for that. Have you been hiking/climbing anywhere else?
